Below are links to documents containing Amgen’s comments in response to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services’ (CMS) Proposed Decision Memorandum (PDM) for Erythropoiesis Stimulating Agents (ESAs) for Non-Renal Disease Indications (CAG-00383N) released on May 14, 2007.  CMS has stated that a public comment period on the PDM will end on June 13, 2007 with a final policy expected to be released within 60 days.

In this detailed submission on PDM, posted on June 2, 2007, Amgen reinforced its commitment to the highest standards of patient safety and to working with CMS to ensure that coverage decisions are consistent with the available science and in the best interest of patients.
